Our group decided to design for youth facing homelessness that range from the ages of 14-22. The starting idea was solely focused on emancipated youth but we later realized that we could reach a broader audience by focusing on overall youth homelessness. The site would specifically provide housing along with the opportunity for residents to heal and feel safe on the site along with the ability to create community. Programmatically the site is broken down by housing (pink), recreation (red), education (yellow), therapy/counseling (green), and dining (orange).

My area of the site focused on creating a public entrance through my forms. I also created a private/interior courtyard in contrast to the open courtyard in the middle of the site. My design consisted of recreation, education, and cafe space on the first two levels. Then the housing would be the most safe/private spaces on the top levels.
