For this project, our group decided to focus on the redensification of low income urban communities. Our site is populated by denser urban typologies, from modular design to village schemes, that are connected with a central public space that connects our various architectural elements. Our program includes, residential housing, commercial stores, local food vending, an art gallery for local artists, an eduation center, a child daycare, and a resource center. .
The plinth connects the built typologies of our site by createing an interactive space via openings into and out of the site and routes over and under the plinth.
