Final Poster: This image is of my final poster of Chloe’s happy place. Chloe’s happy places consisted of a couple key elements: Beds, Some sort of water element, Ramps/Slides(No stairs), Seamless Windows, Gardens (with help), a large fridge so she doesn't need to grocery shop often, some sort of smart home element where daily tasks (such as cleaning or cooking) are eliminated from her to-do list, and some sort of sustainable elements such as water collection. Following my project 0 form of facets, I began to play around with height and elevation from my existing Project 0 model. Ultimately, I designed a tri-level water collection tank to meet Chloe’s happy place needs. Each level has large waterbeds that are used to store collected rainwater and there are ramps/slides to travel from level to level (aka from bed to bed), satisfying her need for many beds, no stairs, and sustainability. The interior faceted structure is surrounded by large glass facets that face out towards the lake, satisfying her needs for seamless windows. To satisfy Chloe’s need for a helper, the poster displays a comic of a butler helping Chloe out throughout her day such as bringing her groceries, tending to her garden, fixing her home, and even bringing her pillows for her waterbeds.

Roof Plan: This Roof plan shows the complexity and intermingled facets. The core of this building consists of concrete facets while the exterior is surrounded by glass facets.

Floor Plan: This Floor plan shows the three levels and ramps of this structure. Each level is accompanied by a custom sized water bed and surrounded by triangular facets. Floor three has an extended floor plate where a singular outdoor jacuzzi is placed between the core structure and the wall of glass. There, Chloe can both relax and enjoy the protected view of the lake.

Elevation:This elevation is useful in understanding the relationship between the core concrete faceted structure and the surrounding glass facets that cover the core. There are no doors, rather openings within the structure that allow passage. The ramps and slides are shown in this elevation as a figure is sitting and travels down from the third floor to the second floor. The structure is partially submerged in water to integrate Chloe’s wish for a water element.

Elevation: This elevation is complex but shows the mixture of glass and concrete facets. While the glass facets surround the core concrete structure on one side, this elevation shows the mixture of glass and concrete on the same facade on this side of the structure. Small pockets of views into the structure can be seen in this elevation.

Section: This section shows the core of this structure. All three levels and ramps are seen as well as the integration of water, the connection between glass and concrete, and the uses within the structure.

Section: This section shows the connection between the core of the structure and its relationship to the glass exterior. Chloe’s need for both beds and a water element are shown as the 1st floor is partially submerged into the lake. From there, Chloe can lay in her waterbed while also enjoying an underwater view from another glass facade beside her. As the moon's gravitational forces change, the tides will move, changing Chloe's experience from the structure everytime.
