This parti diagram illutrates the intersecting rectangles and triangles that make up my form. They are arranged in a “pinwheel” shape that remains symmetric. The dotted lines represent where the shapes intersect.
The form is manifested from the parti as traingular prisms emerge from the rectangles and triangular prisms from the triangles. The shape is then rotated vertically 180 degrees and 90 degrees along the xy plane to create a second layer.
Some faces from the shapes are removed to create moments in the interior that play with shadow and light.
