This from was generated through a series of extrusions based on an intial parti of intersecting circles and hexagons. From the intersections select shapes were extruded and stacked in a series to create a layered form with the extruded shapes comingling their shared edges. Finally, the shape is rotated 90 degrees so that it starts resembling a proto-house type form.

From the base parti you can see the main hexagonal and circular shapes that were intersected and then organized into different linegroups to create the new shapes for extrusion.

From a corner perspective, the layered shapes can easily be seen, showcasing the shared curves that lead from one shape to the next.

Head on, the form takes a more monolithic massing which can only be discerned through the lighting and shadows indicating the full depth.

The final photoshopped image goes full in on the mountainous alpine cabin this form was beginning to develop into.  The upper points of the form beginning to resemble both pitched gable roofs as well as peaks, and the rounded shape on top alluding to either a lunar or solar celestial casting its light and shadow upon the form.
