Axonometric Perspective | Through X0 project, I want to explore the internal organization of the space and the different ways of connecting distinct parts of the space to the outside world. By using chasing paper and wooden sticks as model materials, I can clearly study the internal organization of the space and also facilitate the study of the effect of different openings on the space in terms of light.

Parti | GRID is the method I used to operate in this project. The space is divided into 8×8 grids. In the four orientation, up and down, left and right, diverse numbers of grids form their own individual space. In terms of the inner flow, the parts that connect these separate individual spaces are the channels, paths, which communicate the different spaces as a whole. In terms of the connection between the outside space and inner space, modules with specific fuctions has corresponding opening.

Top Perspective | This photo uses a point light source, which is placed in the middle of the model. The top of the core barrel of the model is not sealed with chasing paper, so it is possible to observe the way the internal space is organized and the relationship between the intersections.

Elevation Perspective | This photo clearly shows the different ways of opening of the different modules through the point light sources placed inside the model. It also reflects the way the different volumes and core areas of the modules are connected to each other.
