Out group created a communal dwelling that was a new take on the ‘tower in the park’. The core concept of our site model was the unifing features of the plyth. Each person was given program requirements to furfill and make connections with the ajacent nieghbor. My design is highly modular, and strives to create initmate spaces within the ground floor and the communal terraces. My portion of the model is located on the dead-end street creating many oppurtunites to engage with the existing commmunity.
Commercial programs such as a day care, community resources builing, food vendors, and rentable commercial spaces are located on the first floor. The plynth unifies the different programs as creates a more privates space for the residents.
