I choose to focus on developing the surrounding area of the site. This post car urbanism aims to take over the street to create a bock party environment. The design focuses on two activated ground planes; the boardwalk and the plyth. The plynth seperates the residential and commercial spaces, while the boardwalk makes a connection between the two spaces and unifies the spaces.

The ground floor is public and commercial space including shops, food vendors, and rentable space. The sunken cut outs on the boardwalk create more intimate green spaces. This makes the user feel like they are out of the center of the movement. The plynth acts as a front yard for the residents. The entrances to the residential spaces are on the plyth. As the residents move up, the spaces become more private and less accessible to the public.
