The story of the building ends with the series of collapsation, as the four residences died inside the building, the building itself falling apart with the residences.
The main concept of this project is how could architecture correspond to the concept of death. In the diagram, I use butterfly, bird, flower, and rainbow to symbolize the concept of death, along with the collapsed architecture.
The element of time is also crucial to this concept. I used triptych (a work of art that is divided into three sections) as a way to create a sequence of how is the building is been constructed (the right panel), after the terminal illness residences moved to the building (the middle panel), and the building becomes a ruin after the residences died.
