My client Omar wants a happy space for reading. In this space, there should be trees and water, with different views at different perspectives. He also needs a secret space that no one could discover.
The central courtyard formed by the wrap-around layout introduces the landscape. The seemingly walled interior is used as the secret space. The surrounding walls are windowless to provide privacy. skylight window at the top brings in the light needed for reading.

Following the form of the previous project, the solids with the same curvature throughout form voids, allowing Omar to have different views of the courtyard. The different heights of the spaces enrich Omar's experience.

For concealment and interest, Omar will climb into his secret space through a low entrance. The interior space responds to changes in the external form, such as the curved section that forms a tabletop inside. The narrow space brings a sense of security while satisfying his various activities.
