This is a building designed for hobo clown that combines a commercial street and a residential area.
The hobo clown comes from the Great Depression in the United States and represents the unemployed and downtrodden white collar workers of the time. I designed this space according to their characteristics and needs.
The hobo clown comes from the Great Depression in the United States and represents the unemployed and downtrodden white collar workers of the time. I designed this space according to their characteristics and needs.
The second floor is a performance area and a commercial space that provides them with a workplace, while the second floor and the upper floors are different types of residential areas.

The whole building opens from the top floor to a patio leading to the commercial area on the first floor, providing light to the whole center of the building, with public bathrooms and kitchens on each floor, and living rooms. For daily life and gatherings, there is also an open-air terrace. The shape of the whole building comes from the development version of the x0 project, I used twenty-nine identical squares superimposed to get the base shape, then used irregular arcs to link their edges to expand the effective space and then divided the interior to get rooms of different sizes.
