I chose “Aggregation” as a formal language to generate the model. I started with an “L” shape and then create a circular array, rotating it by 60 degrees. Where the six L-shapes intersect determines which part is the center.
The parti illustrates a set of L shapes that meet and create a hexagon. The red lines represent the basic blocks around the central column. The six quads in the center are divided into two sections and have different heights.
The basic body blocks are arranged at different heights and have different thicknesses, which enrich the vertical visual experience. The model looks like a “tower”..
